The Beauty Graveyard

Time to share all the beauty products I have used up these past couple of months and give you my thoughts.

If a product has a * next to it, that means I have used it up before. If a product has more than one * next to it, that means I love it a lot and clearly get through copious bottles/tubes/jars of the stuff!

Bioderma Crealine H20 *** - My first micellar cleansing water. Its great for quickly removing your makeup, but since discovering L'oreal's new micellar water  which is cheaper and more easily obtainable, I wont be buying Bioderma again.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic * - One of my favourite toners, I like that it removes any last bits of make up my cleanser missed. It also feels very refreshing and doesn't leave your skin feeling tight at all.

Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel * - I love this cleanser, feels so luxurious when you use it and leaves my skin feeling soft. I will definitely keep repurchasing this.

Korres Wild Rose 24 Hour Moisturising Brightening Cream - Although I like that this moisturiser contains natural ingredients I probably wouldn't buy it again as it just didn't seem to be particularly effective.

Lucas Paw Paw Ointment - My little miracle worker, if I have a cut/burn/scab or particularly dry skin, I slap a bit of this on and by the next day I notice a dramatic difference.

Hydraluron - I am now on my second tube of this stuff. It contains hyaluronic acid which can hold up to 1,000 times it weight in water. Basically used under your moisturiser this will help your skin absorb more moisture, therefore increasing the hydration of your skin. I can see a noticeable improvement in my skin when I use this and I hope over time, that will become more and more visible.

Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray * - I use this everyday before I apply my makeup and afterwards. I no longer look in the mirror at lunch to see that half my makeup has disappeared off my face! Life saviour.

Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara - Full review here. I love this mascara, gives me defined but volumised lashes and the waterproof formula lasts all day on me. I have already repurchased :)

Benefit They're Real Mascara * - Another of my favourite mascaras, is also great for defining your lashes but the little torture ball on the end also grabs your outer corner lashes giving an even more fluttery effect.

Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette - And I thought nothing could replace my beloved Lingering by MAC. How wrong was I?!

Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer - I wasn't keen on this primer at first but ended up falling in love with it. Having tried other primers since, I realise that I particularly like how this feels on the skin, not siliconey or sticky and it isn't really heavy. Definitely worth trying if you are on the look out for a decent primer.

CND Solar Oil - This stuff got me obsessed with cuticle oil. Stops your cuticles getting all raggedy but I also swear it increases the wear time of my polish.

Aussie Mega Conditioner ** - A brilliant cheap, every day conditioner.

Tara Smith Shine On Shampoo - One of the best natural, vegan shampoos I have tried. Unlike some which don't lather up at all, this distributes well in the hair and left my hair feeling very clean. Plus Tara's packaging is amazing! If you live in Croydon I have just noticed that our Marks and Spencer has just started stocking her line so go take a look!

Lee Stafford Treatment For Hair That Never Grows Past a Certain Length ** - About 2/3 years ago when I was growing out my hair I used to swear by this stuff. I honestly think it did help my hair grow and improve its overall condition. I used to stock up on this in Boots when it was on offer and this is the last of my supply. Now my hair is pretty long so I don't have a need for it anymore, but try it out if you are trying to grow out your hair.

Yes to Carrots Hydrating Shower Gel * - I love this shower gel because it contains 99.8% natural products, so no nasty chemicals.

E45 Moisturising Lotion ******* - I think the amount of bottles of this I have gone through speaks for itself!

I already have another bag full of used up products, ready and waiting for next time!
