Face of the Day with MAC Heroine Lipstick and x 15 Warm Neutral Palette

My love for MAC has been well and truly reignited, what with their new Warm eyeshadow palette and now the re-release of Heroine lipstick into their permanent collection.

Heroine for me was always the one that got away, along with Bad Girl RiRi! So I was excited when I heard MAC were going to be making it permanent. Heroine is a bright, matte purple, amazing formula and not too drying! I had a play around with my new purchase and the Warm eyeshadow palette, so thought I would post a quick face of the day for y'all.

Face

Foundation
MAC Face & Body Foundation in N3 mixed with NARS Copacabana Illuminator
My current foundation combo of choice. Love the light, glowy coverage.

Concealer
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla
Everyone raves about this concealer but I haven't used it enough to understand why!

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer in SC3
I don't really rate the NARS concealer for blemishes/redness and as Face & Body gives such a light coverage I do need to use my trusty Secret Camouflage in certain areas.

Powder
Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot
A pretty standard setting powder, I neither love it or hate it but I wouldn't repurchase this once its used up. Side note, the Soap & Glory makeup range has some good products in it but I think their prices are just too high!

Bronzer
Guerlain Terracotta Moisturising Bronzing Powder in 00 Makeup Artist
Really good matte bronzer, my makeup bag staple for the last few months.

Blush
MAC Harmony
As the eyes and the lips were both quite strong I really didn't want a strong blush as well, so I just used Harmony for a bit of a contour.

Highlight
Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Powder in Candlelight
Could you be the most beautiful highlighter in the world? YES

Eyes

Eyebrows
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette
Love

Maybelline Brow Drama in Medium Brown
The brush is stupid but this is a pretty decent eyebrow gel.

Eyeshadow Primer
MAC Layin' Low Pro Longwear Paint Pot
MAC's Paint Pots make great eyeshadow bases and this light tan colour is perfect for bringing out the warmth in my eyeshadows.

Eyeshadow
MAC 15 Warm Neutral Palette
Full review here. I used Gingersnap all over the lid and underneath the lower lash line with Saddle and Dark Brew in the crease and lower lash line as well. I finished by using Dance in the Dark as a liner, just on the outer edges of the upper lash line to add a bit of definition.

Mascara
Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara
A good mascara but not Maybelline's best, I wouldn't buy this again.

Lips

Lipstick
MAC Heroine

Let me know if you have tried either MAC's new Cool or Warm palettes, I would love to see some pictures of the Cool palette in action!

Also would you wear Heroine, or are purple lips a no, no?!
