Project Pan - Update 6

I'm a bit disappointed that I've only managed to use up three items of makeup this month, but I have been using a lot of new products which are going to take me longer to finish.

For the past eight months, I have been making a conscious effort to use up my makeup. The initial goal was to downsize my makeup collection, but I'm starting to think that will never happen!

Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder £24.00

I really wasn't a massive fan of this powder. It does control oil and shine but it made my skin look really ashy and dull. For £24.00 I expect a lot, and it's not like I even have a particularly dark skin tone.
I will happily shell out on a powder like the Charlotte Tilbury one if its amazing but the Rimmel Stay Matte powder is better than this and that's about £3.00!

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in "Frozen Quartz"£29.00

I really love these By Terry cream eyeshadow pencils and this is the second one I have finished.
Frozen Quartz is a frosted light pink, which looks really pretty on the eyes. I love these because they look beautiful on the eyes with a real high shine, but take minimal effort to apply.
I will definitely have to restock on these pencils soon.

Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil in "Taupe" £29.50

This is also the second one of these I have finished. The first one I had in the colour "Grey" which obviously wasn't the best colour match, but worked surprisingly well. "Taupe" was a better match for me and I do like these eyebrow pencils. The angle of the pencil makes it really quick and easy to fill your brows in and the brush on the end is genuinely useful, but overall I just prefer my Hourglass pencil. I find the Hourglass lasts a lot longer, whereas I can finish one of these Bobbi Brown pencils in a month and I wouldn't want to spend £30 every month on an eyebrow pencil.

Total used up makeup = £82.50

My empty makeup bag is really starting to fill up now!

May Favourites

May was a nice chilled month for me, I played drunken scrabble in a caravan, climbed the Malvern hills (just about), went to the Make Up For Ever launch, voted (for all the good it did) and spent a lot of time swimming.

I don't feel ready for summer yet, I'll always be a winter baby but ho hum 7 months till Christmas ;)

For some reason all my favourites this month are on the pricier side but in my humble opinion, they are all well worth splashing the cash on. They wouldn't be my favourites if they weren't ;)

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Frozen Quartz

If I could start my makeup collection again I would just buy every single shade of these. I wear eye shadow every day but I don't have the time to be faffing around with it, which is why I love these. I literally colour my whole eyelid in, and then just blend out the edges with either a brush or my finger tip. I love how these almost have a wet look to them and guaranteed whenever I wear one of these someone will ask what my eyeshadow is. Frozen Quartz is a mauve/pink shade, which has a really pretty sparkle. Pricey but definitely worth it.

Oskia Micro Exfoliating Balm

I imagine this is what baby cherubs would use on their face, if baby cherubs actually existed. This is the softest, smoothest exfoliator I have ever used. Its not gritty or scrubby, and because its a balm it melts into the skin. When I rinse this off I genuinely expect to look in the mirror and see a baby staring back, my skin feels that soft.
Again another pricey product, but I am getting to that age where I am happy to invest in skin care!

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow in Sun Tan and Sun Light

I have been obsessed with this for the past two weeks, I have to restrain myself from covering my entire face. In the pan this looks scary, the bronzer looks really dark and slightly orange but its completely different once you apply it. The coverage is sheer, so you can build up colour gradually and you can blend the edges away to nothing, so there are no harsh lines. Paired with the highlighter, this just makes your skin glow. For me this is a summer must have.

Dior Nude Air Serum

I love this foundation on my skin. It completely evens out my skin tone and because it dries down to an almost powder finish, it makes my skin look so smooth. Its also really easy to apply and works best when applied in sections and blended with your fingers.

The Bear by Claire Cameron

I have been reading the Game of Thrones books since September, so a break was much needed. The Bear is about a family and their two young children, who are attacked by a bear on a camping trip. The story is told from the 5 year old daughters perspective and that is what makes the book. Its a really easy read, I finished it in a week and had to stop myself from blubbing on the train on a couple of occasions. Reading it from Anna's perspective makes it all the more terrifying, she refers to the bear as a black dog chewing on a bone, not realising whose bone that is.
I will say that it did frustrate me on a couple of occasions, as the story does skip around, children do have a short attention span after all and I did have to re-read a couple of paragraphs to work out what was actually going on, compared to what Anna thought was happening but overall a really good read.

Project Pan Update 2

I mentioned in this post that I was going to make a conscious effort to buy less makeup and use up more of what I own.

I have to admit that at this point I am struggling with this challenge! I love playing around with my makeup so using the same products day in, day out is really difficult for me and boredom has most definitely set in now! The struggle is real :'(

I am persevering through and have managed to use up another six makeup products this month.
Every time I finish something, it gives me the motivation I need to carry on!

Here is everything I used up this month, its pretty scary how quickly it adds up!

MAC Prep & Prime CC Compact £20.50
I had a love/hate relationship with this powder. It kept me shine free all day and I liked how it looked on my skin but the formula was so hard that I really had to scrub my brush in it, to pick up any powder. Not one I would repurchase.

Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Creme £30.00
This is one of my biggest makeup disappointments ever. Its not a bad under eye concealer, it just doesn't do much of anything. Doesn't provide much coverage, doesn't highlight and just disappears into the skin. Really not worth the £30.00 price tag.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19
From a £30.00 concealer that I hated, to a £4.19 one that I loved. This concealer is amazing, definitely worth all the hype it gets. It gives great coverage and lasting power, all for under a fiver.

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in 'Boy' £25.00
My only Chanel lipstick would you believe! This is a lovely sheer, natural colour. Its nothing revolutionary and there are definitely dupes out there but there is something special about a Chanel lipstick.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in 'Misty Rock' £29.00
Possibly my favourite ever cream shadow. These Ombre Blackstar's are pricey but well worth the money in my opinion. They are super shimmery but in a sophisticated way and I love how they look almost glossy on the lids. They are also so easy to use, just colour in your whole eyelid and blend out. Looks like you made an effort, when you really haven't! I will definitely add this back into my makeup collection in the future.

Luna Twilight Bella Palette £19.00
No, really this is a Bella from Twilight themed makeup palette! I have mentioned before that I get quite obsessed with actresses makeup in films and could literally spend hours researching exactly what the makeup artists used. New Moon is by far my favourite Twilight film and one of the reasons was Bella's hair and makeup. Everything was so warm toned and glowy (Jacobs influence!)
All jokes aside, I actually loved this little palette and all the colours were so wearable which never happens! Don't tell anyone but I actually have a back up ;)

Total used up makeup = £127.69!

Ahh the satisfaction I get from looking at this bag of used up makeup!

Face of the Day with MAC Cremeblend Blush in Something Special

I have been making a conscious effort to use up makeup for the past few months and overall I am really enjoying it. There is a real satisfaction which comes with actually finishing something and my bag of makeup empties is really starting to grow.
I am finding myself getting bored with some products though, particularly my face products, as they just seem to be never ending.

This is the look I have been wearing for the past few weeks whilst I tried to finish up my By Terry cream eyeshadow in Misty Rock. There are a few products here which I'm nearing the end of and I can't wait to switch them for something else when they are finally finished.

Face

Primer
Rachel K Original CC Cream

This CC Cream is very different from the westernised tinted moisturiser versions we have over here. It makes a great primer as the brightening effect neutralises any redness before you even apply foundation.

Foundation
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation mixed with NARS Illuminator in Copacabana

My foundation and my bronzer are the two things I cannot wait to finish. Now we are coming into Spring, I really want to use a lighter coverage base so I'm hoping I can get this finished by the end of March.
The NARS Illuminator has been a life saviour with this foundation, injecting some much needed glow.

Corrector and Concealer
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light Bisque and MAC Pro Longwear Concealer

I'm sad because I've almost finished my Bobbi Brown Corrector and I don't quite know what my under eye circles will do without it!
I do really rate this MAC Pro Longwear Concealer as well and I particularly love the consistency, as I can use it both under my eyes and on any spots or redness.

Bronzer
MAC Extra Dimension Bronzer in Aphrodite's Shell

The never ending bronzer continues, but there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Blush
MAC Cremeblend Blush in Something Special

I have been loving this blush this month, it gives the prettiest peachy glow to your cheeks and unlike other cream blushes, isn't sticky at all. A few people have said I look "glowing" with this on and trust me its definitely the blush not me!

Powder
Too Faced Primed and Poreless Pressed Powder

I finally finished my MAC CC Powder and now I have moved onto this Too Faced powder.
I originally bought this last year, but after discovering it photographs terribly with flash photography, it was banished to my drawer. I also find it leaves my skin looking ashy and just leaves it looking so flat. There are far better, cheaper powders out there like the Rimmel Stay Matte, but as I spent my hard earned cash on it, I'm determined to use it up.

Eyes

Eyebrows
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette and L'oreal Brow Artist Plumper in Dark Brunette

Nothing new here, just my two faves!

Eyeshadow
By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock with Trick from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

I decided to add Misty Rock to my items to finish up list because I didn't have much left after using it so much last year. Possibly my favourite ever cream shadow, this is such a unique mauve/taupe colour, which gives your eyelids the most beautiful glossy sheen. Every time I wear this, at least one person will ask what eyeshadow I'm wearing, so it must be good!
I have switched it up a little though and have been applying Trick from the Naked 3 palette over the top. Gold and purple might sound like a weird combo but it works so well. Trick is my favourite shadow in the palette and I am genuinely concerned what I will do when its all gone!

Mascara
Tarte Lights Camera Flashes Mascara and Clinique Bottom Lash

I can't even remember my life before these two mascaras! Like my brow products, these are the creme de la creme.

Lips

Lipstick
MAC Lipstick in Cosmo

I promise I didn't buy this lipstick just for the name! This is one of my favourite MAC lipsticks and its a very 'me' colour. This is a slightly darker my lips but better shade and its an amplified finish, so its extremely pigmented.
I have never actually finished up a MAC lipstick so I'm hoping this will be the first!

14 Makeup Favourites of 2014

Yesterday I shared my 14 beauty favourites of 2014 and today its time for the fun stuff, makeup. I actually find it really hard to pick my top makeup picks for the year because things like eyeshadow and lipstick I change all the time. I want my end of year favourites to really be the things that I have used the most.

There are no foundations in my favourites this year because I have actually been trying to reduce my foundation collection! Last year I went through quite a few and although some stand out, once I used them up I went onto something different.

There are so many products I could have put in this post but these are the products I have used the most throughout the whole year. You can also compare this years list to lasts years 13 Makeup Favourites of 2013.

1. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
Out of all three Naked palettes, this is the only one I really use. I love the rose gold tones of this palette and I always love my eyeshadow whenever I use it. For that reason this was the eyeshadow palette I used on myself when I was a bridesmaid at my Sister's wedding. My favourite look with this palette is 'Dust' over the lid with 'Trick' applied over the top.

2. Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in 'Soft Brunette'
Featured in my 2013 favourites
This year I dabbled with a few other eyebrow pencils to see if there was anything better out there, but I always come back to this. I love the texture and size of the pencil, its waxy and gives a very soft look. I have fuller brows so I don't like a really small, defined pencil.
No more dabbling, I will stick with this now!

3. MAC Eye Kohl in 'Teddy'
I realised how much I loved this pencil when I went on holiday and couldn't find it. I ended up having to buy another one in the airport. I never wear black eyeliner because I find it looks too harsh but this bronzed brown is perfect for adding subtle definition and enhancing blue eyes.

4. Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara
I always thought the concept of a mascara purely for your bottom eye lashes was utterly ridiculous. I still think its utterly ridiculous but after trying it, I can understand the appeal! The main reason I love this is because it doesn't smudge at all. Every single mascara I have tried smudged on my bottom lashes, this is the only one that hasn't. I also love that it defines every lash with no clumpiness or smudging.

5. Illamasqua Brow and Lash Gel
Featured in my 2013 favourites
Although I have been using the L'oreal Brow Artist Plumper these last few months, this was the brow gel I used every single day before that. This gives amazing hold and gives you that Cara Delevigne full but groomed brow look that I love.

6. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage
Featured in my 2013 Favourites
My favourite ever concealer and its all used up *cries*
I call this my industrial strength concealer because it covers anything and it lasts all day, there is a reason that so many makeup artists have this in their kits. I will definitely repurchase this once I have used up my other concealers.

7. NARS Illuminator in 'Copacabana'
When mixed with foundation, this gives your skin the most beautiful glow. It just has the most ethereal sheen to it, with zero glitter. I can't wait to start mixing this with my foundation again in the Spring and Summer.

8. Milani Illuminating Face Powder in 'Beauty's Touch' and 'Amber Nectar'
One thing I discovered about myself last year, is that I don't like really strong, pigmented blushers. I haven't touched any of my NARS blushers in over a year and instead always reach for these or my Physicians Formula Happy Boosters. I love that these are light, so its impossible to go heavy handed. I also love that they have a slight highlight to them as they really give a youthful glow.

9. By Terry Ombre Blackstar in 'Misty Rock'
These Ombre Blackstars are my favourite cream shadows, the stick form makes them so easy to apply and they last all day. I actually think they look even better after a few hours as they look almost glossy on the lid. Misty Rock is a sparkly taupe/purple shade and I often get compliments when I wear this, must be a winner!

10. NARS Pro Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
The best eyeshadow primer, makes any eyeshadow last all day and I love the thin consistency of this compared to other, heavier eye primers.

11. Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in 'Candlelight'
Featured in my 2013 favourites
One of my all time favourite makeup discoveries. I think I actually might be addicted to this highlighter! Its very subtle, with no glitter so looks much more natural than most highlighters. I wear this every single day.

12. Charlotte Tilbury Air-Brush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder
A pressed powder isn't usually much to get excited about but this pressed powder is like something made by Angels and sent from the heavens. Before I digress anymore and start sharing my love for David Boreanaz, let me tell you why. First of all it feels like velvet on the skin, its so finely milled and soft that it is a genuine pleasure to apply. Second of all, it keeps my skin shine free all day without any touch ups and thirdly the rose gold compact is to die for.

13. NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in 'Dolce Vita'
I have to admit that I am a little upset right now because whilst googling a link for this pencil I have discovered that NARS have discontinued it! Whilst crying into my pillow, let me tell you why it is amazing and why NARS are absolute fools!
So you know the film The Notebook, of course you do! Well I became obsessed with Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams lipstick, it was this muted rosy, matte red and just looked generally amazing. Dolce Vita is that colour, the colour I was dreaming about all that time! I love the formula of the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils as they don't feel drying at all and I personally much prefer a matte finish when it comes to lipstick. So, although no man has refurbished a house for me, at least I have a fabulous lipstick collection to cuddle at night!

As I cannot find this online anywhere, try a NARS counter in store as they might still have it (I think I might have to do that tomorrow!)

14. Tarte Lights Camera Flashes Mascara
This mascara has really spoilt me because now every other mascara disappoints me. Not only does this give a ton load of volume, it also gives length and separation and I have never come across a mascara that has done all three before. I can't imagine going back to any other mascara now!

November Favourites

My favourites were really easy to pick this month because I have worn the same two makeup looks pretty much all month long. I really want to experiment with some darker, vampier lipsticks but I need to leave my bed earlier in the morning in order to do that!

MAC Blush in 'The Perfect Cheek'

Without a doubt my favourite MAC blush and possibly my favourite blush ever......
If I have a slightly darker eye, or a neutral lip, I always reach for this because it just gives your cheeks a little something.
Typical MAC discontinued this colour but I hear the shade Cubic is very similar, if you want an alternative.

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Blush in 'Natural'

Also known as the blush with the longest name ever! I am a sucker for these blushers, I cant help it, its the hearts and the promise of happiness! I have two of these Happy Booster blushers and I honestly use  them way more often than any of my NARS blushers. These are just so easy to wear, they distribute just the right amount of colour, so they are easy to apply and you don't end up looking like a clown. I also love the hint of shimmer because it saves you using a separate highlight.
If you are going to America anytime soon, put one of these on your shopping list!

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in 'Misty Rock'

I am finding it impossible to get up in the mornings at the moment. I'm surprised I haven't developed RSI from hitting the snooze button on my phone. This laziness means I don't have a lot of time for my makeup, which makes cream eyeshadows my BFF. I cannot turn down a good cream, metallic eyeshadow. It takes literally seconds to slap it on with your finger and looks like you put in a lot more effort than you actually did. If I had to pick a favourite it would be Misty Rock. Its hideously expensive yes, but it lasts all day, looks amazing and I always have at least one person ask me what my eyeshadow is when I wear this.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in '13'

My mum went to New York in November and unluckily for her, she left with a massive Sephora list from me! I have a post planned to share all the Sephora delights and this cream shadow was one of them. I love the gold colour and its perfect for this time of year. Since I got it, its barely left my lids!

L'oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish in '104 Beige Countess'

My friend Nat got me hooked on these L'oreal polishes and they have to be one of my favourite discoveries of 2014. I love the mini size, because who actually uses up a whole bottle of nail polish and the shade range is really, really good. They have the best nude shade range and I think I pretty much have every single colour! My nails are in crappy condition at the moment so this nude colour has been on them pretty much non stop.

Essie Nail Polish in 'Summit of Style'

This is the only time of year where I am prepared to go through the ordeal which is removing glitter nail polish. Men you have no idea!
These Essie luxe polishes seem to be sold out everywhere but if you can get your hands on Summit of Style, its a beauty.

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black

This smells what I imagine its like to be an Olsen twin, amazing (except for the really old boyfriend, we will leave him out!) If you like warm, masculine scents you will love this. Its perfect for this time of year and its a scent you could wear everyday, unlike Tom Ford's Black Orchid which can get a bit overkill. Every time I smell this, I feel like I am hugging a man shaped pillow <3

Sephora Kiss Me Balm in 'Candy Apple'

You know I love my EOS lip balms, well this Sephora version has answered my prayers because its tinted! Tinted lip balms are my saviour and the fact they have a sheer red shade, even better! This gives you that instant relief from that horrible dry lip feeling, plus it also gives you a hint of colour to make you look a bit more alive.

Game of Thrones Books

I thought I would include one non beauty favourite this month and that is the amazing Game of Thrones book series. I am a huge fan of the TV series but just never got round to reading the books. Now I commute everyday I spend my entire journey to and from work with my head in one of these, I am hooked! I am currently on the third book, not bad going for 3 months!
I was worried that having watched the TV series, I would find the books boring with a lot of duplication but there's so much detail that's not included in the show and you get such an insight into each character. Its also helped me understand some of the houses and history to each house. If you were putting off reading these like me, don't waste another minute you won't regret it!

Face of the Day with Dior Star Foundation

Last month I was changing my makeup on an almost daily basis, this month I have been pretty much sticking to this look everyday. Sometimes its nice just to use your tried and tested, favourite products, that you know you love.

Face

Foundation
Dior Star

This foundation has really grown on me. Initially I was unsure as it wasn't what I expected.
I was expecting a high coverage, flawless finish but the coverage is actually a lot lighter. Its a medium coverage foundation, which has a very natural demi matte finish.

Concealer
Bobbi Brown Corrector, Josie Maran Argan Creamy Concealer Crayon and Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I use the Bobbi Brown corrector on my dark circles with the Josie Maran crayon on top to brighten. The crayon is too creamy for any spot concealing, so this is where the Collection concealer comes in.

Powder
Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro Powder

Very sad to say I have finally finished this powder :( This was the best powder I had ever found, it felt like velvet, provided a little bit of extra coverage and kept me shine free all day. I feel bereft now its gone!

Blush
MAC The Perfect Cheek Blush

This was released in MAC's Marilyn collection a few years ago and is no longer available, but I have heard that MAC's Cubic is almost identical and in their permanent line.
This is one of my all time favourite blushes because its so easy to wear and is perfect for the whole 90s makeup revival that is going on right now.

Highlight
Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight

Reunited and it feels so good! My favourite highlighter, gives you a serious but natural glow.

Eyes

Eyebrows
Soap & Glory Archery in Brownie Points and L'oreal Brow Artist Plumper

As well as my powder, I have now also finished this Soap & Glory eyebrow pencil. If you are looking for a cheap eyebrow pencil this is the only one I would recommend and although I have gone back to my beloved Hourglass pencil, I would definitely purchase this again in the future.

Eyeshadow
By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock

This eyeshadow is just a fail safe for me, you cant go wrong. Its so quick to apply, I literally just colour in my whole eyelid and then blend the edges. It takes no effort or time but I always get lots of compliments and I just love the metallic mauve/taupe colour.

Mascara
Tarte Lights Camera Flashes and Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara

My favourite mascara combination, doesn't smudge, budge or flake.

Lips

Lip liner
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

This is a very natural shade, perfect for adding fullness to your lips. The colour would work well all over the lips but when I tried this, I actually found it to be quite drying and after about an hour found myself frantically searching for lip balm!

Lipstick
MAC Lipstick in Bad Girl RiRi

Another discontinued MAC item, sorry but I just love this brown taupey nude. If you don't have this but want to try something similar, try MAC's Velvet Teddy which is another favourite of mine.

Eyeshadow Sticks

Although I wear eyeshadow every single day, I'm kinda lazy with it. For everyday I have a strict one colour only rule, which is why I love cream eyeshadow sticks. They are super quick and easy, I literally colour in my entire lid and blend out with my finger, or a brush if I'm feeling fancy.

I find that cream eyeshadows have more dimension to them then powder shadows and it looks like you put in way more effort than you actually did.

I didn't realise till recently but I have built up quite the collection of cream eyeshadow sticks, so I thought I would share my favourites on here.

Charlotte Tilbury Colour Chameleon in Champagne Diamonds (For Blue Eyes)

My camera does not do this justice, its so glittery in real life it makes my eyelids look like they belong to Edward Cullen! I love Charlotte's concept for these pencils, there are two colours for every eye colour, a day and a night version. Champagne Diamonds is the day time colour for blue eyes and I have to agree, it does emphasise blue eyes very well. Like I said these are super glittery but don't worry the glitter doesn't stray. Call me a rebel but I actually really want to get Amber Haze, which is the shade for brown eyes.

I think these would make great Christmas presents for your friends. My only complaint is that for the price, they don't self sharpen.

Available from Charlotte Tilbury £19.00

GOSH Forever Eyeshadow Stick in Light Copper

GOSH isn't normally a brand I pay much attention to, I don't know why but I'm just never drawn to the GOSH counter. I think all those bright orange blushers put me off! I randomly swatched these on my hand in Superdrug, not expecting anything special and was amazed at how smooth and metallic they were. I had to stop myself buying three shades and ended up opting for Light Copper, which I knew I would get the most use from. This is the cheapest of all my eyeshadow pencils but I honestly don't think you could tell a difference.

Available from Superdrug £5.99

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock

If I had to pick a favourite, this would be it. I just love the taupe/purple colour, its so unique and it makes a change for me from wearing brown! This is super metallic and almost has a glossy finish on the lids. I always get quite a few compliments on my eyeshadow whenever I wear this, so I know its a winner! It lasts all day and its just a fail safe for me, I cannot recommend this enough.

Available from Space NK £28.00

NUDESTIX Magnetic Eye Colour Pencil in Angel

NUDESTIX are a relatively new brand who have a range of eyeshadows, lipsticks and concealers, all in stick form. I really like their concept of easy, practical makeup.
Angel is a peachy gold shade, a more subtle version of the Charlotte Tilbury without the glitter.
The other thing I really like about NUDESTIX is that your stick comes packaged in its own tin, the idea being that you can keep all your sticks in one place and each stick comes with its own sharpener.

Available from Space NK £24.00

Trish McEvoy 24-Hour Eyeshadow and Liner in Topaz

Apart from the font, this has identical packaging to the By Terry Ombre Blackstars. They must be made in the same factory or something because even the eyeshadow itself is the same, high shine, metallic and long lasting. I cannot tell a difference! Topaz is a gold tinged, metallic brown which looks great on its own all over the lid, but also works really well used in the crease with one of the lighter colours like Angel. As for the whole 24 hour thing, I cant say and I don't plan on testing that ;) but I can say it lasts a good 9 hours +

Available from Liberty £24.00
